Arte Radio found Syd Barrett! I vaguely thought the founder of
Pink Floyd was dead or in a madhouse, as we say in French, "scotch-taped to the ceiling" due to his excessive use of acid in the '70s. But he lives in France with his sister, bikes to the nearby village, and grows dahlias. He tries to interpret, in French, messages in the clouds (making his sister lose her patience a little bit: "
They're only clouds, dear!") gives gardening advice and sings an old French folk song called "Do you know how to plant cabbage?"
